German born Juliane Kellersmann lives and works in London. Her work is a patchwork formed of layers, depth and distance. Whilst studying at the Academy of Fine Arts Enschede she evolved into landscape and its abstracts and soon realised the calming and balancing nature of colours. Juliane’s work is best described as something that is approached with great sensibility, something born out of the process, fully welcoming the element of coincidence. Often colour-saturated and echoing with botanical references her pieces are timeless and always aim to suggest a visual realm where reality and abstraction coexist.
